Welcome to Backroads and Beaches RV. We are full-time nurses who decided to stop waiting for “someday” and start living right now. On a daily basis we see people that spend their entire lives putting off their dreams, only to find out that they’ve waited too long and now it’s too late. For me that lesson hit even closer to home. At just 30 years old I lost my high school sweetheart and husband to cancer when he was only 32. The heartbreak taught me the hardest, and most vital truth… tomorrow is never promised. You cannot take material stuff or money with you when you go. When you leave this earth, the only things that truly belong to you are the memories you make and the experiences you shared.
Life is short. We bought our 42-foot toy hauler and hit the road. When we aren’t working shifts, we are intentionally chasing back roads, finding quiet beaches, and choosing to live our fullest life right now. We created this space to share the raw, unedited reality of RV life and to gently remind you to stop waiting.
