Picture this: you’ve spent the day white knuckling it through Space Mountain, dropping $19 on a churro, and convincing your kids (or yourself) that “just one more ride” is a reasonable life philosophy. You are DONE. Your feet hurt. Your wallet is crying. And the last thing you want to do is fight the exit crowd just to watch fireworks over a sea of strangers’ phone screens.
Enter Anaheim Harbor RV Park — one mile from Disneyland, and one of the very few places on earth where you can watch the fireworks explode over the Magic Kingdom from a lawn chair outside your own rig, margarita in hand, pants optional.
The Basics
Anaheim Harbor RV Park sits on Harbor Blvd, about a mile from the Disneyland Resort — close enough to walk (roughly a 25-minute stroll to the gates), or uber/Lyft if your legs have already filed a complaint. The ART bus unfortunately stopped service in April 2026, so this option is no longer available.
Rates: roughly $70–$95/night depending on site and season. $6.00 charge for each additional person 10 & up beyond two people. AAA, senior and military discounts.
Pets: $5.00 per pet fee
RV size: accommodates RVs up to 40 feet (from bumper to hitch) in a deluxe site; however, it may be difficult to back-in if your RV if it is larger than 35 ft. Deluxe sites with parking are available to accommodate one vehicle if you are pulling a trailer, towing a vehicle or have a 5th wheel. These are all backup sites. Both deluxe and deluxe with parking have grass and a picnic table.
Standard sites are “parking lot style” without grass or picnic tables. These sites are tight and do not accommodate slide outs or vehicles. There is parking available away from your site for an additional charge but are limited.
Hookups: full hookups with 30- and 50-amp service. Make sure you have a sewage hose at least 25 ft or longer.
Wi-Fi: free
The Fireworks Situation (aka Why We’re Really Here)
This is the whole point. Disneyland shoots its nightly fireworks from the northern backlot of the park, and Anaheim Harbor RV Park has a clear line of sight to the show — no ticket, no crowd, and free drinks. Guests describe it as front-row seats without ever leaving their site — and honestly, some say it beats watching from inside the park, since you’re not packed in with 40,000 strangers. If you want to see the fireworks with the projection show across Sleeping Beauty Castle, you will need to be in the park.
Fireworks typically kick off between 8:30–9:30 PM, so plan your dinner (or your nap) accordingly.

The Honest, Real-Talk Section
Because I promised you real, not just pretty:
It’s basically a parking lot with hookups. Charming in a “we’re here for Disneyland, not nature” kind of way — don’t expect towering pines and a babbling creek.
Harbor Blvd is loud. It’s a busy street, so if your site backs up to it, expect traffic noise. Earplugs or a white noise app is your friend.
Sites are tight. Not the place for your full outdoor living room setup. If you are a big RV, you will not fit. This RV Park has some tight turns.
Book ahead. It’s one of the closest RV parks to Disneyland, and everyone else has figured that out too.
Bottom Line
If your goal is maximum Disneyland, minimum hassle, Anaheim Harbor RV Park earns its keep. It’s not a wilderness escape — it’s a strategic home base with a genuinely unbeatable nightly light show thrown in for free. Pull in, plug in, and let the fireworks come to you.
